Meet Travis Young

A Winter Park High School graduate and life-long resident who is actively involved in the community, sales associate Travis Young knows all that there is to know about the city he calls home. Having worked as a contractor with a local construction company owned by third-generation Winter Parkers, he is an area expert with an impressive wealth of knowledge.

Travis is a 4th-degree black belt who has taught martial arts and self-defense in the area for years. (There’s a good chance that you, your children or neighbor have taken classes with him.) What Travis loves most about teaching is helping people achieve their goals and find happiness; this same reason was the impetus for his transition to the real estate industry in 2016. As a sales associate with Premier Sotheby’s International Realty, he looks forward to putting all of his experience and expertise to work in helping his customers find their dream home.

More than 25 years spent as a martial arts student taught Travis invaluable lessons about integrity, honesty, consistency, dedication and attention to detail, while working as an instructor gave him a keen insight into how to communicate with people of a wide range of ages and families as a whole.

In his free time, Travis still practices martial arts, and is skillfully trained in the disciplines of Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Krav Magna and Taekwondo. Mindful of giving back to the community, he is a volunteer with Give Kids The World Village and has served as the chairperson of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention’s Out of the Darkness Walk in Central Florida.
